A way with pain presents a cheque for £1500 to Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre

Away with Pain have kindly donated £1,500 to Oxford Hospitals Charity to support Oxford Centre for Young People in Pain (OxCYPP) at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. OxCYPP is a paediatric pain management rehabilitation service that support young people and their families manage chronic pain conditions.

This funding will enhance the treatments that OxCYPP can provide for their patients. This funding allows the team to offer experiences that patients would not be able to access on NHS budgets, for example funding karate and dance sessions for the patients during their rehabilitation programmes.

Julia Smith, Anne Marie van Es ( Occupational Therapist ) and Dr. Konrad Jacobs ( Paediatric Cliinical Psychologist ) of OxCYPP said "We are extremely grateful to Away with Pain for the donation, it will make a massive difference to the work we are able to provide for our patients, and allows us to give a better quality of life to those suffering with long-term pain conditions"
