Vitamin B1, also known as Thiamine, is the first numbered member of the B vitamin family. B1 is found in many foods including yeast, cereal grains, beans, nuts and meat. It is often used in combination with other B vitamins. There are two forms of thiamine often used in vitamin B1 supplements – thiamine hydrochloride and thiamine mononitrate. They are both synthetic, however thiamine hydrochloride (HCl) is water-soluble, unlike thiamine mononitrate. This makes it harder to manufacture, but much more effective as a supplement as the body can absorb it easier. That’s why we only use thiamine hydrochloride in our vitamin B1 supplement.

PURE VITAMIN B1 THIAMINE: 500mg of pure vitamin B1 thiamine hydrochloride in every vegan friendly vegetable capsule.
THIAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE VITAMIN B1: G&G Vitamins B1 only uses thiamine hydrochloride. Most supplements use thiamine mononitrate. Both are synthetic forms, however thiamine hydrochloride is water-soluable, unlike thiamine mononitrate. This makes hydrochloride harder to manufacture, but much more effective as a supplement as the body can absorb the nutrients easier. That’s why G&G only use hydrochloride.
